Senior Global Market Access Lead
Job Summary
Your new role
As Senior Global Market Access Lead you will own and drive market access and payer value strategy across
pipeline launch and lifecycle stages for assigned diabetes assets. Operating with high independence you will
integrate payer insight HTA strategy and value communication into the heart of asset development –
influencing how our therapies reach patients in 194 countries.
Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
Owning asset-level market access and payer value strategy integrating payer research Target Access
Profile (TAP) and access risk assessment across pipeline launch and lifecycle stages
Leading the development and refinement of TAPs market access business cases and global payer
value communication toolsets (eCVDs value decks negotiation toolkits) in collaboration with Pricing
and HEOR
Shaping HTA and reimbursement strategy packages including submission sequencing plans risk
assessments and high-complexity affiliate support for HTA submissions payer negotiations and
objection handling
Providing market access input into clinical development planning including early access strategy HTA
risk assessment and evidence needs
Driving payer insight generation to inform access strategy value messaging and evidence
requirements
Acting as informal market access matrix lead for assigned assets – coordinating cross-functional
stakeholders across Clinical Medical Commercial Regulatory and affiliate teams
Leading internal and affiliate-facing training on asset-specific access strategy and payer value
communication and mentoring junior and mid-level colleagues across the team

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy medical affairs and business development across
all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained
competitiveness upstream and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and
competitive launches downstream.
You will join Global Market Access and Pricing – Diabetes & Access the team responsible for defining shaping
and operationalising payer-relevant value and access strategies across the asset lifecycle. We work at the
intersection of science evidence and health systems – partnering closely with HEOR Pricing Payer Evidence
Clinical Development Medical Commercial and regional/affiliate teams to ensure payer insights and access
strategy are embedded into pipeline development launch preparation and lifecycle management.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a strategic payer-savvy market access professional who thrives in high-ambiguity
environments and enjoys turning complex evidence into clear access outcomes. You'll bring with you:
A Master's degree or higher in Health Economics Public Health Pharmacy Epidemiology Biostatistics
Health Services Research or a closely related quantitative/health discipline with formal training or
demonstrated experience in Market Access Value Strategy Payer Engagement or Health Economics
6–10 years of relevant experience with clear ownership of asset-level market access strategy including
payer research TAP development HTA planning and launch preparation
Strong understanding of payer systems HTA processes and reimbursement pathways across key
markets combined with knowledge of payer research methods and the ability to translate insight into
coherent access strategy
Demonstrated ability to develop and refine TAPs market access business cases and payer value
narratives – integrating pricing HEOR and payer evidence inputs into a single defensible story
Proven success operating in a global matrix environment with advanced stakeholder management
strong project leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Sound judgement in balancing access ambition with evidence readiness and launch constraints and
the personal resilience to navigate shifting payer feedback and strategic priorities
The role is global in scope with up to 5% international travel and virtual collaboration across time zones.
