Senior Fleet Specialist

Responsible for the end-to-end management of Cognexs European vehicle fleet (200 vehicles across 18 countries) combining hands-on operations with ownership of cost suppliers policy and performance. The role ensures the fleet is managed efficiently accurately and cost-effectively with strong financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full vehicle lifecycle (order delivery in-life management return) including orders renewals returns inspections and damage handling
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and fleet suppliers managing all queries and issues
• Maintain accurate fleet records contracts and vehicle data ensuring alignment with financial and payroll systems
• Manage relationships with leasing and rental providers (e.g. ALD Automotive Arval) ensuring delivery in line with agreed terms and service levels
• Own the review validation and approval of all fleet supplier invoices ensuring:
  • Accuracy against contracted rates
  • Correct application of lease damage and service charges
  • Proper coding to cost centres and GL accounts
• Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing and payment
• Maintain and reconcile fleet cost data (leases damages usage) supporting budgeting forecasting and cost tracking
• Identify cost trends and drive cost control and savings initiatives
• Own and maintain the European Fleet Policy ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting on fleet cost usage and performance across countries

• Strong financial and analytical capability (cost control invoice validation)
• Experience managing suppliers and contracts
• Ability to balance hands-on execution with ownership and accountability
• High attention to detail; ability to manage complexity across countries
• Strong internal stakeholder communication skills across multiple countries are essential
