This requires a broad range of skills including financial modelling risk management US/Canadian GAAP financing audit and investor relations. We are small but growing fast which means real ownership and a clear path into future roles such as Finance Manager or VP Finance.

As youd expect of a finance company we work hard when it counts but not for the sake of it. We dont miss the things that matter outside work we protect our time and we usually sign off early on Fridays.

About the position

Youre an experienced Senior Analyst who wants your work to have a real impact. Youll own a portfolio of clients end-to-end building their financial models running their monthly numbers and fielding questions directly from owners and their investors. The models and analysis you build help business owners unplug on vacation get time back with their families and enjoy running their companies again.

Youll report to our FP&A Manager and work directly alongside our senior partners and managing partner a small senior team where your work is visible and your growth into Finance Manager or VP Finance is real not aspirational.

Across your portfolio youll handle financial modelling budgeting cash flow forecasting scenario planning and variance analysis. Youll build 3-statement financial models from the ground up then run and adjust them every month against each clients actual results.

Youll work across a wide range of platforms including Shopify QuickBooks Online Xero Google Sheets Google Docs Amazon Seller/Vendor Rippling and Gusto. We hire for modelling skill and judgment and will train you on our stack you dont need prior experience with every tool.

A note on intensity: this is a demanding role but the intensity is project-driven not chronic. Crunch clusters around month-end close and client board prep; the rest of the time you own your calendar.

Hours & time zone

This is a fully remote Bengaluru-based role. We focus on output and impact rather than hours logged.

What you will do

Financial Modelling

We build forecasts that are realistic robust and useful for decision-making.

• Build 3-statement dynamic financial models (income statement balance sheet cash flows)
• Each month as we meet with clients adjust the models and flag potential margin and cash flow issues
• Field questions and requests from clients and potential investors and work them into the models
• Benchmark client metrics against industry and sector data so forecasts reflect likely reality
• Create scenarios for every model so assumptions can be tested regularly

Financial Reporting

We look backward so we can look forward to manage cash flow and mitigate risk.

• Monthly reporting including variance analysis
• Building and updating KPI dashboards
• Maintaining 3-statement forecasts (P&L Cash Flows Balance Sheet)
• Cash flow monitoring and forecasting

What you must have (required)

• 5 years experience in finance with demonstrated expertise building and maintaining 3-statement financial models in Microsoft Excel
• A working understanding of US GAAP; Canadian GAAP or IFRS exposure an asset well train you on our US/Canadian reporting conventions
• A bachelors or masters degree plus a professional qualification CA CPA ACCA CFA or an MBA in Finance
• A background in a high-intensity deadline-driven environment a Big 4 firm a major consulting firm equity research investment banking / M&A or a comparable scale-up FP&A team where demanding workloads and tight turnarounds are the norm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the judgment to turn analysis into clear actionable recommendations
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and the ability to work independently without constant supervision

Nice to have (bonus)

• eCommerce agency or FP&A experience
• Hands-on experience with Shopify QuickBooks Online Xero or Amazon Seller/Vendor
• Prior client-facing or investor-facing work

• Full-time salary of USD $2500$3500 per month (approximately 2.13.0 lakh per month 2536 LPA) paid in INR plus a performance bonus
