As part of the Global Finance Operations team we are currently seeking a Senior Finance Specialist who will be a collaborative team member supporting the JLL Marketplace core business including daily and monthly activities of this new business. Senior Finance Specialist will possess excellent excel skills which will allow them to work with a vast amount of data while also performing reconciliations and analysis. Responsibilities for the supplier side transactional accounting work for JLL Marketplace

Responsible for the calculation of monthly fee revenue (accruals) based on respective contract terms rebate percentages and discounts

Responsible for the validation of all supplier fee reports and populate invoices for distribution; invoices will include contract % terms

Responsible for quarterly reporting in fee revenue

Responsible for the calculation of GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) and communicating to stakeholders

Responsible for the maintenance of the suppliers rebate files and distribution of these rebates.

Responsible for timely and accurate payments to external suppliers both in manual and standard form

Responsible for timely external supplier payments for one off purchase/payment programs

Ensure number of third-party payments made and client account invoices created balance within same respective accounting period

Provide a month-over-month commentary to stakeholders

Maintain an external supplier payment tracker and internal client invoice tracker; weekly reconciliation of both trackers to ensure accuracy and completeness

Provide timely assistance and resolution to suppliers on invoice questions and or concerns

Maintain and research AR over 30 days past due with client account teams and ensure objectives and metrics are being met; support and enforce payment terms

Support any additional ad hoc requests

Provide assistance with audit requests

Assist and provide required information for annual budgets and reforecasts

A bachelors degree in accounting (preferred) or Finance required

6 years of accounting experience some real estate experience preferred

Advanced accounting and analytical skills

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications required; Psoft 9.2 knowledge a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated consistency in values principles and work ethic

Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners

Ability to multi-task work successfully under pressure and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs

A desire to work within a diverse collaborative and driven professional environment
