Senior Engineer Software Testing

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 46 years of experience in designing and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and hands-on experience in building scalable automation Responsibilities:Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriverAnalyze business requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test casesExecute test cases (manual & automated) and report defects using defect tracking toolsDevelop and maintain automation frameworks (Hybrid / Data-driven / POM)Perform regression functional and integration testingCollaborate with developers business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverablesParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectivesEnsure test coverage and improve test efficiency through automationDebug and troubleshoot automation script failuresRequired Skills:Strong experience in Java programmingHands-on experience with Selenium WebDriverExperience in building and maintaining automation frameworksGood understanding of OOP conceptsExperience with TestNG / JUnitKnowledge of Maven / GradleExperience with Git or other version control toolsFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI etc.)Strong understanding of SDLC & STLCGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood to Have Skills:Experience with API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter)Basic knowledge of SQL / Database testingExperience in cloud-based testing platforms
