Your Role at Baxter

Design and deliver scalable software solutions by applying strong engineering principles technical expertise and sound judgment. Plan and execute defined projects with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business and technical objectives.

What Youll Be Doing

• Plan and deliver defined software projects including project schedules dependency management and coordination with development and support teams.
• Design architect develop test and maintain applications APIs and microservices.
• Develop clean maintainable code and drive solutions to complex technical and performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with product managers designers users and cross-functional teams to define requirements and solution architectures.
• Evaluate technical concepts and design alternatives considering business objectives costs and product requirements.
• Conduct code reviews troubleshoot defects and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Monitor relevant technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve product quality and competitiveness.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Software Engineering or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Proficiency C# Web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) microservices Kubernetes and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Service (AWS) knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript Angular or React is preferred.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines using Databricks and working with modern data storage solutions.
• Experience with object storage technologies such as MinIO SeaweedFS or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of database design and development including SQL Server and other relational database management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives scalability requirements and cost considerations.
• Experience in medical device software development is preferred.
