Senior Engineer – Post Order Engineering

Job Title: Senior Engineer

Location: Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review FRP and RCC/Concrete cooling tower engineering drawings and documentation.
• Generate BOMs for all materials with required specifications.
• Finish tower layout elevation structural frame and component arrangement based on site data.
• Use local and international codes (IS ASCE ASME CTI) to validate or compute wind and seismic loads.
• Foundation design and structural consultant assistance.
• Develop columns louvers casing fan decks Davit system stairways ladders etc.
• Engineer and select fillers drift eliminators nozzles and water distribution headers/piping the hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Optimize manufacturing site construction and thermal performance.
• Create and test auxiliary systems such dosing tanks pumps controls for chemicals side-stream backwash and flow temperature conductivity sensors.
• Cooling tower engineering should include auxiliary systems and project management and documentation
• GA water basin fabrication BOM technical datasheets PID and system diagrams need verification and should be able to do collaboration with procurement fabrication civil/structural consultants and project execution.

• Verify material purchase intent technically and explain technical details and as-built drawings to site engineers throughout installation and commissioning.
• Follow client needs codes and technological best practices and verify all design outputs.
