Senior Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation
Job Summary
Main Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive predictive breakdown and calibration activities for electrical and instrumentation equipment while ensuring complete documentation of all maintenance work.
- Install inspect service and repair electrical systems machinery DG sets lighting fixtures panels wiring and associated equipment.
- Plan coordinate and allocate planned and unplanned maintenance activities to shift technicians and engineers for timely execution.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and maintenance materials raise purchase requisitions when required and support procurement and stores teams in material selection.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities related to plant operations and projects.
- Develop implement and follow up on PM/PDM schedules to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot maintain and optimize PLC SCADA telemetry systems metering devices process controllers and related automation equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings wiring diagrams specifications and perform installations modifications calibration and commissioning of new systems; update ISO and technical documents accordingly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records logbooks reports and provide support during internal and external audits such as ISO EMS FSMS and Safety audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with SOPs and SHE requirements including work permit systems incident reporting safety training and technical guidance to technicians and engineers.
Qualifications :
- 8 - 10 Years of hands-on expérience in Electricals & instrumentation in an industrial / utility / plant environment preferred.
- B.E (Electricals).
Additional Information :
- Working knowledge of SAP system for maintenance and inventory management.
- Experience in PLC SCADA and industrial automation system.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and interpretation of electrical Drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong communication teamwork training
