Role Description: Sr Gen AI Engineer

We are searching for a self-driven Gen AI Expert who has strong hands-on experience in building and deploying Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) based solutions with good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Role and responsibilities.

• Understand the business and solution requirements and get the team aligned with the same.
• Design build and productionize Generative AI / LLM based solutions.
• Automation and integration of AI workflows and processes.
• Research and integrate new technologies and emerging GenAI techniques into the existing stack.

Technical skills requirements

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Data Science / Machine Learning with strong recent focus on Generative AI.
• Strong Machine Learning fundamentals - deep understanding of various ML algorithms model training evaluation and their real-world applications.
• Scripting: Strong Python skills are a must - ability to write clean modular production-grade code along with libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) - prompt engineering fine-tuning (LoRA/PEFT) and evaluation.
• Hands-on experience designing and building Agentic AI systems multi-agent orchestration tool/function calling and reasoning workflows using frameworks like LangChain LlamaIndex LangGraph AutoGen or CrewAI.
• Experience implementing agentic patterns such as planning memory tool use and multi-step task execution with autonomous or semi-autonomous agents.
• Hands-on experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines with embeddings and vector databases.
• Good experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and transformer architecture.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.
• CI/CD: Jenkins Github Actions
• Working experience on Linux.
• Working experience in Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Containerization.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High levels of motivation with a can-do attitude.

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with GPU accelerated computing and optimization techniques (quantization distillation inference acceleration).
• Exposure to LLMOps versioning monitoring safety and guardrails.
• Understanding of Responsible AI - bias safety and evaluation frameworks.

Basic understanding of Agile Practices and methodologies

• A bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or a related discipline is required
