Requirements

Must have

A degree in computer science software engineering information technology or similar experience.

Curiosity about how things work.

A passion for learning and developing new skills.

Obsession with automating everything and a passion for elegance and simplicity.

Ability to jump into situations with few guardrails and improve them.

Extensive experience with AWS services.

Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python Go or shell scripting.

Familiarity with LoadBalancing and API Gateway

Basic knowledge of REST (or) gRPC & Protocol Buffers

Understanding of Kubernetes and CloudNative Technologies

Experience with CI/CD tools like Github actions Jenkins etc.

Infrastructure automation with infrastructure as code tools - CDK CloudFormation Terraform.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks like OpenTelemetry Prometheus Grafana.

Experience with container infrastructures like Docker.

Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL administration and management such as Postgres and MongoDB.

Experience with microservice architecture.

Experience with configuration management.

Excellent understanding of operating system concepts especially Linux OS.

Nice to have

Experience working for a start-up is preferred

Familiarity with AWS data engineering - DMS Glue Athena Redshift Quicksight

History of effectively working with and growing geo-distributed partner teams

AWS Cloud Certifications.

Basic knowledge of security - OWASP static code analysis
