Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer specializing in the Windows Cloud Files API (CFAPI) to join our IT Services this pivotal role you will leverage over seven years of professional experience to architect and implement robust file system solutions. The position demands a deep understanding of Windows internals including shell integration reparse points and file locking mechanisms to drive the development of advanced services and RESTful interfaces. This role is critical for enhancing our platforms capabilities in handling complex cloud file operations and ensuring seamless integration with the NTFS file system.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components utilizing C and Win32 APIs with a specific focus on Windows Shell Integration and file system interactions.
- Implement advanced file system features such as creating placeholders via CfCreatePlaceholders and executing operations through CfExecute to optimize cloud storage performance.
- Build and maintain Windows Services that interface effectively with REST APIs to support scalable data management solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve low-level system issues using WinDbg ensuring stability and reliability of file locking mechanisms and reparse point handling.
- Architect solutions that adhere to NTFS file system concepts ensuring efficient data handling and compliance with Windows security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CFAPI functionalities into broader enterprise applications.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development within the IT Services sector.
- Proven expertise in C programming specifically with Win32 API development and debugging using WinDbg.
- Deep technical knowledge of Windows Shell Integration including the management of reparse points and file locking strategies.
- Proficiency in working with Windows Services and designing REST API integrations.
- Strong command over Windows Cloud Files API (CFAPI) concepts including CfCreatePlaceholders and CfExecute.
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows and NTFS file system architectures.
- Ability to work within a salary range of 19 LPA commensurate with senior-level technical expertise.
