Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Furniture Design Mechanical Engineering

Experience :10 years experience in furniture design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of designs and projects.1

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop furniture designs based on market trends consumer preferences and brand identity.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of furniture prototypes and products.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team to refine and iterate on designs considering factors like functionality materials cost and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to ensure that designs can be effectively produced within manufacturing constraints.
• Generate detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes including dimensions materials finishes and assembly instructions.
• Participate in design reviews providing insights and recommendations to enhance product designs for better performance aesthetics and manufacturability.
• Stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and materials integrating new ideas into the design process.
• Collaborate with the production team to address design-related challenges during the manufacturing process and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure that the final products meet quality standards are aesthetically pleasing and fulfil customer expectations.
