Senior Database Administrator

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work from Office (5 Days)

Reports To: Head of IT Infrastructure Operations

We are looking for a highly experienced Sr. Database Administrator to manage optimize and secure enterprise-level databases. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MSSQL PostgreSQL and MySQL along with hands-on experience in performance tuning HA/DR setups and database migrations.

Install configure and maintain database systems

Monitor performance and optimize databases for high efficiency

Implement backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies

Ensure high availability (HA) and minimal downtime

Manage database security access control and encryption

Handle database migrations (MSSQL to PostgreSQL/Open-source DBs)

Troubleshoot performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler DMVs

Collaborate with developers for schema design and optimization

Maintain documentation and ensure compliance standards

Handle incidents and provide root cause analysis

Strong expertise in MSSQL MySQL and PostgreSQL

Experience with database performance tuning & optimization

Knowledge of HA/DR solutions and replication

Experience in backup and recovery processes

Familiarity with AWS RDS / Azure SQL Database

Exposure to NoSQL DBs like MongoDB Cassandra Kafka (preferred)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
