About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer to join a high-impact SME Fraud Data Warehouse (DWH) programme. This is a pivotal role where you will design build migrate and optimise a large-scale analytical platform on Teradata Vantage as a Service (VaaS) with an AWS-based data lake. You will work alongside a talented cross-functional team to deliver a robust fraud analytics platform that drives real business outcomes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect analytical data solutions on Teradata VaaS and AWS
Build migrate and optimise large-scale data pipelines and data warehouse structures
Collaborate with data architects analysts and fraud SMEs to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure data quality performance and reliability across the platform
Contribute to best practices in data modelling pipeline development and platform governance
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Teradata Vantage as a Service (VaaS)
Proven expertise in AWS-based data lake architectures including S3 Glue Redshift and Athena
Experience designing and building large-scale analytical platforms
Solid understanding of data migration strategies and best practices
Strong SQL and data modelling skills
Nice to Have
Exposure to fraud domain data and SME fraud analytics
Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD IaC) on AWS
