Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Databricks to lead enterprise-level data platform architecture and modernization initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable secure and high-performance data solutions supporting analytics machine learning and operational workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

Define end-to-end enterprise data platform architecture using GCP and Databricks technologies
Design and govern lakehouse architecture including bronze/silver/gold layers and Delta Lake implementation
Architect batch micro-batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks
Build scalable and cost-optimized cloud data solutions
Create architecture documents including HLDs LLDs and data flow diagrams
Design logical and physical data models including dimensional and domain-driven models
Implement data governance cataloging lineage security and access control standards
Establish CI/CD practices testing standards and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Drive observability standards including monitoring SLAs alerting and incident management
Collaborate with engineering analytics data science and product teams for solution delivery
Mentor senior engineers and conduct architecture reviews

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture data modeling and database design for business consulting and services industries.
• Proficiency in data warehousing solutions ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud including experience with cloud-based data storage and management solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and solutions.
