Senior Compliance Accountant

Position : Senior Compliance Accountant
Qualification : CA Inter
Experience : 3–5 years of accounting experience preferably in the logistics freight forwarding shipping or trading industry.
Location : Calicut
Salary : 8 Lacs

Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory regulatory VAT customs and trade requirements across the GCC China and other operating countries.
• Maintain a compliance calendar statutory documentation and filing schedules while monitoring changes in laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants auditors and government authorities and support internal/external audits.
• Review logistics jobs to ensure accurate revenue billing supplier costs and operational expenses before job closure.
• Identify and investigate revenue leakage billing omissions duplicate costs pricing deviations and profitability gaps.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained to prevent statutory claim rejections.
• Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews report policy violations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support import/export trading companies in meeting legal customs VAT and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly compliance reports shipment-wise profitability analysis and KPI reports for management and track and report compliance exceptions policy deviations revenue leakage and profitability performance.
