Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Integration Engineer with strong Java and backend development experience to design and implement enterprise-grade integrations and microservices.
In this role you will work with modern cloud technologies middleware patterns and API-driven architectures to enable secure and scalable data exchange across systems. You will collaborate with architecture security and operations teams to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.

- Design and develop backend services and system integrations using Java and Spring frameworks
- Build and manage RESTful APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) using JSON and XML formats
- Implement middleware patterns including transformation routing and orchestration
- Deploy and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Use containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL (queries indexing transactions)
- Implement security mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
- Contribute to DevOps activities including Git CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Delivery) and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
- Provide production support debugging and performance tuning

Required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in backend development or integration engineering
- Strong experience in Java (8/11/17) and Spring (Boot MVC Data JPA Security)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Understanding of middleware/integration concepts
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization
Preferred
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
