Job Summary
Senior C/Kernel Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design develop and maintain Linux kernel modules drivers or subsystems
Debug and troubleshoot kernel-level issues including crashes memory corruption and performance bottlenecks
Write clean efficient well-documented C code following kernel coding standards
Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal engineering standards and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware QA product) to align kernel-level work with broader system requirements
Analyze and optimize system performance memory usage and stability at the kernel level
REQUIREMENTS
Senior-level experience in C programming with strong Linux kernel development background
Solid understanding of Linux kernel internals (process scheduling memory management device drivers synchronization mechanisms)
Experience with kernel debugging tools (e.g. gdb kgdb ftrace kernel crash dump analysis)
Familiarity with kernel module development and build systems (Kbuild/Makefiles)
Strong understanding of low-level systems programming memory management and concurrency
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance given seniority level
