Job Summary
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst Professional Services to join us in Bengaluru. This role sits within our Professional Services team and leads client-facing implementations of EquiLend Spire our securities finance platform. You will work directly with clients and internal Product Engineering and QA teams to understand client operating models translate requirements into delivery plans manage implementation detail and support successful rollout.
Professional Services acts as the bridge between our clients and our internal development teams. You will own the functional scope of implementation projects manage client relationships through the deliverylifecycleand ensure that requirements are clearly understood and delivered. This is a hands-on senior business analysis and implementation role. It would suit someone whohas ownedworkstreams across client-facing technology implementations and can bring structure judgement and delivery focus to complex workflowsintegrationsand stakeholder needs.
Whatyoulldo
- Own product implementation workstreams for new clients including planning requirements delivery trackingreadinessand issue resolution.
- Lead client discussions to understand operating models workflow requirements integrationneedsand implementation priorities.
- Translate complex client requirements into clear functional specifications process flows data mappings user stories acceptancecriteriaand delivery decisions.
- Manage the full SDLC for client implementations from requirements through UAT go-live procedures and post-implementation support.
- Partner with Product teams to confirm expected platformbehaviour clarify roadmapdependenciesand align client needs with product capability.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA so that requirements acceptance criteria testscenariosand data validation needs are understood before delivery.
- Analyseclient trading post-trade settlement collateral billing regulatory or books and records workflows toidentifydependenciesrisksand implementation considerations.
- Use SQL and data analysis techniques to investigatevalidateand explainimplementationdata issues where.
- Support implementation testing by reviewing test coveragevalidatingoutputs trackingdefectsand coordinating resolution across teams.
- Maintain clear project visibility across actions risks dependencies decisionsmilestonesand stakeholder updates.
- Communicate progressblockersandimplementationrisks to internal and client stakeholders ina timelyand practical way.
- Contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning backlogrefinementand stand-ups using tools such as Jira.
- Improve Professional Services delivery standards by contributing toimplementationtemplates documentationqualityand repeatable delivery processes.
Whatwerelooking for
- 7 years experience in business analysis product implementation Professional Services delivery client onboarding software delivery or a comparable role within financial services technology or capital markets.
- Practical experience owning client-facing technology implementation or onboarding workstreams including end-to-end SDLC UAT and go-live procedures.
- Client-facing experience internal or external withdemonstratedability to gather requirements manage expectations and deliver outcomes.
- Strong understanding of capital markets securities finance post-trade collateral settlement regulatory reporting billing or books andrecordsworkflows.
- Experience gatheringanalysingand documenting complex business requirements functional specifications process flows user stories acceptancecriteriaand implementation decisions.
- Experience partnering with Product Engineering and QA teams to clarify requirements review deliveryoutputsand resolve implementation issues.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and tools such as Jira for backlog management storytrackingand delivery visibility.
- Strong project tracking skills with the ability toorganisemilestones actions risksdependenciesand stakeholder updates across multiple workstreams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain requirementsrisksand trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Sound judgementownershipand a practical client-focused approach to keeping complex delivery work moving.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of SQL to query investigate orvalidatedata as part of implementationintegrationor testing activity.
- Experience in securities lending securities finance or a closely adjacent capitalmarketsdomain.
- Working knowledge of systems integrations and data mapping including how data moves between client systems vendorplatformsand internal applications.
- Experience working with clients globally such as The UK andTheUS.
