Senior Backend Engineer NodeJS

We are looking for a talented and self-driven Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable backend services using Fastify and Python. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build APIs manage data flow and ensure reliability and performance of backend systems. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices using and Fastify
• Write clean efficient and scalable code in JavaScript and Python
• Collaborate with frontend developers QA engineers and product managers 
• Implement automated tests to ensure high code quality 
• Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot production issues 
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging systems 
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members 
• Contribute to DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments 
   

Qualifications :

Required Skills 

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript JavaScript ( Fastify) and Python
• Experience building APIs microservices event-driven or distributed systems 
• Good understanding of REST HTTP and WebSockets 
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB PostgreSQL or Redis
• Working knowledge of Docker Git and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure) 
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth2 JWT) 
• Monitoring tools like Grafana Prometheus or ELK Stack
