Kheyti is transitioning from a government contractor to a national policy voice and technical PMU with the vision of enabling a central government scheme for small-scale greenhouse farming and reaching 1 million farmers. To support this journey we are building a lean policy team in Delhi and looking for a driven Senior Associate Policy to lead research policy drafting and stakeholder coordination that shapes high-impact policy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Policy Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on government schemes policy developments and field data to build strong evidence-based policy recommendations.
Policy Drafting & Content Development: Prepare policy notes briefs presentations and advocacy materials to support government and stakeholder engagement.
Stakeholder & Coalition Support: Coordinate with government officials think tanks and partner organizations to strengthen policy advocacy and collaboration.
Policy Tracking & Knowledge Management: Maintain policy databases track legislative and scheme developments and build a strong knowledge repository for ongoing advocacy efforts.
Scheme Convergence & Resource Mapping: Identify and map convergence opportunities across central schemes (MIDH RKVY NRLM NABARD) and government PMU/technical partner frameworks to inform Kheytis positioning as a national implementation partner.

You are comfortable oscillating between reading government circulars crunching impact data drafting a briefing note for a Joint Secretarys office and engaging directly with government officials and policy makers.
Must-Haves
37 years of experience in public policy research advocacy government consulting or think tank/CSO roles.
Strong understanding of Indias government scheme architecture policy design and implementation processes.
Excellent research and writing skills with the ability to independently create clear structured and persuasive policy documents.
Experience engaging with government stakeholders and tracking policy processes across ministries NITI Aayog or Parliament.
Ability to manage multiple work streams independently in a fast-paced environment.
Based in Delhi and willing to travel to field locations.
Nice-to-Haves
Prior experience in agricultural policy rural development climate-smart farming or related sectors.
Familiarity with schemes like MIDH RKVY NRLM or NABARD.
Experience working with policy think tanks government fellowships or multi-stakeholder advocacy initiatives.
Comfort with data analysis and evidence synthesis for policy advocacy.
