Job Description

OBJECTIVES / PURPOSE

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to serve as a hands-on analytics and insights contributor within Takedas Global Capability Center (GCC) in India supporting the US Medical Digital Engagement & Insights team. This role sits in the GCC and operates as an extension of US Medical transforming US Medicals data into actionable intelligence by uncovering signals in large complex datasets generating clear strategic insights and telling compelling stories with data that guide US Medical leadership field teams and strategic planning. The Senior Analyst carries significant individual ownership of analytical deliverables and is an emerging thought leader who elevates the quality and clarity of insights delivered to US Medical.

  • Own and independently deliver a portfolio of the GCCs US Medical analytical products and serve as a go-to resource for insight generation and visual analytics across assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Partner across time zones with US Medical leaders therapeutic-area leads and DD&T to translate analytical needs into decision-ready insights with clear business implications.
  • Act as an emerging thought partner within the GCC team contributing to analytical best practices storytelling standards and the informal mentoring of Analyst colleagues.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Insight Generation & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct deep self-directed analyses across multiple data sources (e.g. Veeva CRM Veeva Vault MyMedInfo Veeva Link Key People and digital engagement platforms) to uncover patterns trends and opportunities that inform US Medical strategy.
  • Identify meaningful signals within large complex datasets to surface actionable insights for Medical leadership field teams and strategic planning.
  • Navigate ambiguity and frame the right questions applying both quantitative and qualitative analytical judgment to explore complex problems and refine engagement strategy.
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively surface insights that drive better decisions using advanced techniques segmentation trend analysis behavioral patterns and signal detection.

Decision Support & Data Storytelling

  • Skilled at data storytelling connect insights to business strategy and present them clearly and persuasively through compelling narratives visualizations and recommendations tailored to different audiences from senior leadership to field teams.
  • Support performance measurement and strategy refinement by providing timely relevant insights on engagement effectiveness content impact and HCP behaviors.
  • Act as a thought partner to therapeutic-area and functional leads helping frame questions define success measures and guide data-informed decisions.

Visualization Enablement & Data Foundation

  • Design build and maintain enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards and analytical tools (e.g. Databricks Genie) that make complex data intuitive and actionable.
  • Follow and help improve data visualization best practices and design standards continuously refining reporting to better highlight key trends opportunities and impact measures.
  • Partner with DD&T and data platform teams to ensure analytical needs are met and data structures enable insight generation; perform ETL and help orchestrate pipelines feeding analytical products automating recurring workflows using SQL Python and GenAI tools (e.g. Claude Code) as a coding partner.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Support prioritization and scoping of analytical work within the GCC balancing quick-turn deliverables with deeper strategic projects and help build analytical literacy across US Medical stakeholders.
  • Provide informal mentoring and quality guidance to Analyst colleagues and contribute to team knowledge management (standards design patterns reusable templates and query libraries).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree required in a technical analytical or quantitative field (e.g. Statistics Data Science Economics Public Health Computer Science or Life Sciences); advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 45 years of progressive quantitative analytical experience in insights analytics or related roles ideally within Medical Affairs Commercial or similar data-rich functions in pharmaceutical or life sciences with demonstrated independent ownership of deep analysis and surfacing strategic insights from complex datasets.
  • Strong hands-on Tableau experience building and maintaining dashboards is required; strong proficiency in SQL and Python for deep analysis is required.
  • Demonstrated data visualization and storytelling skills with a proven ability to influence decisions through clear actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical data ecosystems (CRM engagement platforms MyMedInfo content systems) and comfort working within modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks) in partnership with DD&T.
  • Exposure to AI/ML analytics use cases to surface insights at scale and knowledge of omnichannel engagement strategies in a Medical Affairs context are strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a GCC captive or offshore delivery model supporting global or US-based stakeholders with willingness to maintain overlap hours with US time zones is strongly preferred.
