Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Engineer
Location: India Japan Taiwan
Salary: 24.12 lakh to 30.15 lakh INR annually (approx.); 42.21 lakh to 48.24 lakh INR annually total with overseas travel allowance
About the role
An entry-level role maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment. No semiconductor background is needed and full training is provided. Youll learn progressively under senior engineers with training tailored to each equipment type.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and commission semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Carry out equipment-specific maintenance
- Attend customer site activities and return to your assigned base afterwards
- Travel overseas for on-the-job training after initial training
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (completed or final year) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Ability to communicate in English and Taiwanese
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Freshers welcome; no prior experience or semiconductor knowledge needed
Career path
- Month 1: initial training in Sendai Japan
- Afterwards: overseas OJT travel
- After one year: transfer to Taiwan in a Taiwan-based role with overseas business trips
