Job Summary
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below but not limited to these:
Report for duty as scheduled and attend pre- and post-shift briefings.
Oversee daily operations of the Hotel Security Control Room.
Monitor CCTV and security systems; promptly report irregularities.
Manage access points and ensure only authorized entries.
Conduct regular patrols of guest floors public areas and back-of-house.
Respond promptly to all security safety and medical emergencies.
Handle incident reporting preliminary investigations and documentation in line with SOPs.
Manage lost & found items key control and visitor/contractor passes.
Provide crowd control lift management and VIP escort duties as required.
Assist in training and guiding security officers on SOPs and hotel policies.
Ensure all security systems and equipment are operational; report faults promptly.
Liaise with management vendors and local authorities on security issues.
Perform other duties assigned by the Security Manager
Qualifications :
At least 23 years security experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel
Proven experience in administering persons in lifesaving or property protection situations
Current certifications in CPR First Aid firefighting and crowd control
Minimum Chief Security Officer Certification as required by local authorities
Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certificate
Proficiency with hotel security systems and strong computer report writing communication investigation and questioning skills
