Role: SDET (software development engineers in test)

Location:Bangalore Chennai Pune - Baner Pune - Viman Nagar Indore CITP
Technical Requirements and Role Clarification
Testing focus:
Data validation and pipeline testing not API/backend automation
Heavy-weight testing similar to development work
Validating data transformations built by others
More execution-focused than framework building
Tech stack:
Azure Data Factory Databricks PySpark/Python coding
Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
SQL knowledge expected for data engineers
No data generation lineage tracing or monitoring required
Experience level:
Relevant 5-7 years individual contributors (Total 6 to 10 years).
Not looking for managers want hands-on technical people.
One person with slight team lead experience preferred for future scaling.
Role positioning: Will be called testers organizationally.
Open to training QA processes but cannot teach coding fundamentals.
Must understand data engineering concepts and pipeline review.
