Skills / Experience Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO 7.x ESR ID and NWDS.
- Expertise in interface development using IDoc SOAP/REST APIs RFC/BAPI XML JSON.
- Proficiency with mappings: Graphical Java Mapping XSLT Mapping.
- Experience with common adapters: File FTP/SFTP SOAP REST JDBC RFC JMS.
- Good understanding of integration patterns (sync/async publish-subscribe BPM).
- Familiarity with SAP ABAP debugging for integration issues (advantage).
- Understanding of SAP modules such as ECC S/4HANA CRM BW SCM SRM.
- Knowledge of SAP PO administration basics (cache refresh channel monitoring) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud integration (SAP CPI/BTP Integration Suite) is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting communication and documentation skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mappings (graphical Java XSLT) between source and target systems.
- Configure adapters such as SOAP REST IDoc RFC SFTP File JDBC JMS and AS2.
- Support end-to-end interface development from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface errors using message monitoring (RWB PIMON NWA).
- Optimize performance enhance error handling and implement retry and alerting mechanisms.
- Work with Functional and ABAP teams to align interfaces with business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration testing and UAT support.
- Provide production support including interface monitoring issue resolution and deployment coordination.
- Support migration of interfaces during system upgrades enhancements or cloud transformation projects.
- Maintain documentation for integration flows mappings configuration and transports.
- Ensure interfaces comply with security audit and governance standards.
