As a Custom Software Engineer a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires engaging in coding activities collaborating with team members to refine functionalities and continuously improving software performance. Working within an agile environment the engineer focuses on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements ensuring seamless integration and optimal operation across platforms. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.- Maintain and update existing software components to improve reliability and performance.- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.- Experience in developing and customizing financial modules within enterprise resource planning systems.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to accounting software.- Familiarity with integration techniques and data migration processes in SAP environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.- This position is based at our Gurugram office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
