Our client a leading global Healthcare and Consulting organization is seeking an experienced SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC) Consultant to support global SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering SAP DRC solutions that ensure compliance with local statutory tax and electronic invoicing requirements across Latin America. This role requires extensive experience configuring SAP DRC integrating with government tax authorities supporting eDocument processes and collaborating with Finance Tax and Business stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple LATAM countries.
This is a contractual role which will run through September 2027 with likelihood of extension. The candidate must be flexible to work in the clients preferred working hours which will be the CEST time zone.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC) across LATAM countries.
Configure and support SAP S/4HANA DRC for country-specific statutory reporting and electronic invoicing requirements.
Design and maintain eDocument processes document types mappings XML structures and compliance reporting frameworks.
Configure country-specific legal reporting requirements in accordance with local tax regulations and government mandates.
Establish and maintain integrations between SAP DRC SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/BTP Integration Suite) and government tax authority platforms.
Configure communication arrangements output determination message control and document submission processes.
Collaborate closely with Finance Tax Business Process Owners and Technical teams to translate statutory requirements into SAP solutions.
Support localization requirements across LATAM countries including electronic invoicing fiscal reporting and digital tax compliance.
Participate in Fit-Gap workshops solution design sessions business process analysis and implementation planning.
Coordinate SIT UAT defect management testing execution and production deployment activities.
Troubleshoot DRC configuration issues government validation errors XML mapping issues and integration failures.
Support cutover planning go-live activities hypercare and post-production stabilization.
Prepare functional specifications configuration documentation test scripts process documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams including FI/CO SD MM Basis Integration Security and Development.
Monitor regulatory updates across LATAM countries and recommend solution enhancements to maintain ongoing compliance.
Ensure all SAP DRC solutions align with SAP best practices enterprise governance and audit requirements.
Requirements
8 years of SAP consulting experience.
3 years of hands-on experience implementing SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC).
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes.
Proven experience configuring:

eDocument Framework
Electronic Invoicing
Compliance Reporting Framework
XML mappings
Output Management
Message Control
Experience integrating SAP DRC with SAP Integration Suite (CPI/BTP) and external government/tax authority platforms.
Strong understanding of statutory reporting indirect taxation VAT and electronic invoicing regulations.
Experience supporting SIT UAT Hypercare Cutover and Production Support.
Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Experience working within global SAP implementation programmes.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Consulting experience within Healthcare Pharma Manufacturing or regulated industries is highly desirable.
