Job Title: SAP Data Migration BODS Lead
Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune India
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

Role Overview/Job Responsibilities

The Data Migration Lead is responsible for leading end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs M&A Org split etc. This role oversees data object scoping ETL development using SAP BODS data quality assurance and migration execution ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute data migration strategy scope and methodology
• Lead data object identification scoping and mapping workshops with business stakeholders
• Oversee ETL development and execution using SAP BODS (extraction transformation and loading)
• Data Validation files preparation
• Ensure data quality through profiling cleansing validation and reconciliation processes
• Manage migration cycles including testing cutover planning and go-live execution
• Coordinate with functional technical and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery
• Drive defect management issue resolution and post-load validation activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in SAP BODS and data migration methodologies
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration tools (Migration Cockpit / ETL frameworks)
• Good understanding of SAP data domains (e.g. Material Master Business Partner Procurement Manufacturing Sales Procurement and Finance)
• Proven experience in leading large-scale data migration programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in global SAP transformation programs
• Exposure to data quality and cleansing tools/frameworks
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance practices
