SAP DATA Archival & Retrieval Consultant

Location: PAN INDIA (UK shift)

Experience: 6 - 15 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

The functional consultant should work with the business and technical/data teams to:

Understand the SAP historical data being exported and identify the business records that must be retained.

Define what constitutes a complete logical business record for example invoice/header/line details accounting entries supplier/customer references attachments and related transactions.

Identify relationships between exported SAP tables/files so associated records remain linked after SAP is decommissioned.

Create source-to-archive mappings showing SAP fields/tables relationships business meaning and target archive structure.

Define business-friendly search/retrieval requirements such as invoice number supplier customer company code document number financial year cost centre etc.

Work with business SMEs to validate that the archived information is sufficient to answer future operational audit and regulatory enquiries.

Support reconciliation and completeness checks between SAP exported data and the archive.

Define test scenarios and support business validation/UAT of historical-record retrieval.

Ensure mappings business rules and record relationships are documented and formally signed off before SAP data is archived.
