Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Commerce Backend Senior Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and hands-on experience with SAP Open Rewrite for application modernization and code migration. The ideal candidate should have extensive backend development experience a strong understanding of Java and Spring technologies and experience upgrading SAP Commerce applications using automated code transformation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain enterprise applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Develop and customize core SAP Commerce modules including Product Catalog Order Customer Cart Checkout and Promotion.
• Implement backend features using Java Spring Framework Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Customize OCC REST APIs and integrate SAP Commerce with external applications.
• Work on SAP Commerce upgrades and migration projects.
• Utilize SAP Open Rewrite to automate code refactoring and application modernization.
• Analyze legacy code and implement migration strategies using Open Rewrite recipes.
• Optimize application performance scalability and security.
• Develop and optimize FlexibleSearch queries and data models.
• Collaborate with frontend developers architects DevOps teams and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support during deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in Java backend development.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
