Salesforce QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer with 3 years of experience in manual and automation who can leverage AI tools to improve testing speed coverage and quality. You will work closely with Product and Development teams to ensure reliable releases through strong test design execution automation frameworks and data-driven quality practices.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing:

• Strong manual testing experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud (Salesforce Sales Cloud (Navigation validations Permission sets/groups Reports creationetc)
• Analyze requirements/user stories and createtest plans test scenarios and detailed test cases
• Executefunctional regression smoke sanityexploratory and UI testingacross web/mobile applications
• Ensure end-to-end validation of workflows edge cases and cross-browser compatibility
• Perform data validation and transformation testing inIICS
• Ensure proper data integration andflowsbetween systems (e.g. SFDC CPQ ERP and compensation tools).
• Test SPIFF configurations and workflows in Salesforce.
• Validate SPIFF calculation logic rules and payout accuracy based on defined business requirements.

Automation Testing:

• Design develop andmaintainautomation test scriptsfor UI and API
• Build/maintainautomation frameworks using tools like:Selenium / Playwright/Opkey
• Integrate automation withCI/CD pipelinesand improve execution reliability
• Track automation coverage and continuouslyoptimizeflaky tests

AI-Assisted QA / Testing (Required):

• Use AI tools ( equivalent) to:
• Generate/refine test cases test data and edge-case scenarios
• Assistin writing/optimizing automation scripts and locators
• Summarize logsidentifypatterns in failures and accelerate RCA
• Apply AI responsibly while ensuring correctness security and adherence to engineering standards

Collaboration & Quality Process:

• Log and track defects usingJira/Azure DevOps ensuring clear repro steps and evidence
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups grooming sprint planning retrospectives)
• Providereleasesign-offinputsvia test reports metrics and risk assessment

Required Skills & Technical Competencies:

Core QA:

• Strong knowledge ofSDLC/STLC defect lifecycle and QA best practices
• Hands-on experience intest case design techniques(boundary equivalence negative testing)
• Experience withAgile/Scrumteams

Automation & Programming:

• Strong exposure to at least one language:Java / Python / JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with test frameworks:TestNG/JUnitPyTest
• Experience withGitand branching strategies

Database & Debugging:

• Ability to writeSOQLSQL queriesfor validation
• Ability to read logs and use browser dev tools for troubleshooting

CI/CD & Test Management (Good to Have):

• CI/CD exposure:Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure Pipelines
• Test management tools:AzureDevops/Jira
• Reporting:Allure / Extent Reports

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science/IT engineering masters degree in computer science.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce testing.
