Sales Manager IMEA
Position Summary
The Sales Manager IMEA is responsible for driving profitable growth across India the Middle East and Africa by developing and executing regional sales strategies managing key customer relationships identifying new business opportunities and coordinating with technical marketing and supply chain teams. The role focuses on delivering revenue margin and market share growth while strengthening the companys strategic position in the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Sales Growth
  • Develop and implement IMEA sales strategies aligned with global business objectives.
  • Deliver annual sales profitability and growth targets.
  • Identify and develop new customers distributors and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive market penetration in targeted countries and application segments.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and ensure effective opportunity management.
  • Key Account Management
  • Manage relationships with regional and multinational key accounts.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements pricing and long-term supply contracts.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead executive-level customer engagements.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Monitor market trends competitive activities pricing dynamics and regulatory developments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and risks across IMEA markets.
  • Develop country-specific growth plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to management.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with R&D Technical Service Marketing Regulatory and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support product launches and commercialization projects.
  • Coordinate customer projects from concept throughcommercialization.
  • Distributor & Channel Management
  • Evaluate and appoint distributors where appropriate.
  • Set performance objectives and monitor distributor effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and joint customer visits.
  • Financial Management
  • Manage pricing strategy to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor contribution margins and working capital.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Establish performance objectives and development plans.
  • Promote a high-performance customer-centric culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Pharmacy Business or related discipline.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 15-20 years of sales and business development experience.
  • Strong experience in IMEA markets.
  • Experience in specialty chemicals personal care ingredients pharmaceutical ingredients or related industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue and profitability growth.
