Qualification: Bachelor's degree in agriculture Agribusiness Commerce Business Administration Food Technology or a related field.

Experience: 3–8 years of experience in spice procurement. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

Salary: Upto 7 LPA

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Root Spices Procurement Executive / Senior Executive to manage the procurement of turmeric from Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The role involves sourcing quality material developing supplier relationships monitoring market trends and ensuring cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure turmeric from key production regions.
- Build relationships with farmers traders FPOs commission agents and aggregators.
- Negotiate prices and ensure competitive procurement.
- Identify new suppliers and maintain a strong sourcing network.
- Monitor mandi prices arrivals crop conditions and market trends.
- Conduct farmer surveys and gather crop intelligence.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly market reports.
- Maintain procurement MIS using Excel and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
- Update procurement records in ERP (SAP knowledge is preferred).
- Check turmeric quality including curcumin moisture color and impurities.
- Coordinate with quality teams for sample testing and approvals.

Requirements:
- Good knowledge of turmeric markets and quality parameters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel across Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
