Job Title: REXX Developer (z/OS)

Experience: 5 Years

Location: Pune Hyderabad Bengaluru and Chennai

Remote (US Timing) - IST 6.30 pm to 2 pm

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced REXX Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining REXX applications in IBM Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules z/OS DB2 and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enhance and maintain applications using REXX on IBM Mainframe.
• Design and support Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules for system automation and monitoring.
• Work with z/OS system components and troubleshoot production issues.
• Develop and optimize DB2 SQL queries stored procedures and database objects.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews testing debugging and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure system stability.
• Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JCL TSO/ISPF SDSF and IBM Utilities.
• Knowledge of Mainframe scheduling tools such as CA-7 or Control-M.
• Familiarity with Mainframe source code management tools (e.g. Endevor or Changeman).
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in REXX programming.
• Strong knowledge of Broadcom OPS/MVS rule development and automation.
• Good understanding of IBM z/OS operating system.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 database development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience in debugging and resolving production issues in Mainframe environments.
• Good analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
