Job Summary
- Plan execute and document audit engagements in compliance with IFRS Ind AS and statutory requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and develop effective audit strategies for clients across multiple industries.
- Review financial statements accounting records internal controls and compliance documentation.
- Identify and communicate financial discrepancies control weaknesses and potential risks to management and senior auditors.
- Lead fieldwork activities including data collection testing and verification of transactions and balances.
- Prepare detailed working papers and audit reports with clear concise conclusions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior team members and partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality audit outcomes.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing professional timely and insightful audit services.
- Stay updated on evolving accounting standards regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Mentor and support junior team members in audit execution and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Commerce () Chartered Accountancy (CA) or equivalent qualification.
- 25 years of progressive experience in audit preferably within a reputable accounting or audit firm.
- Proficiency in audit standards including Ind AS IFRS and relevant statutory requirements.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk-based audit methodologies.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Excel accounting software (e.g. Tally SAP Oracle) and audit tools (e.g. CaseWare ACL).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C or Python Experience with software development tools and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities
