Job Summary
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the development and monitoring of departmental budgets forecasts and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with internal controls tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and dashboards using tools such as Excel ERP systems and BI platforms.
- Assist in cash flow management including forecasting and liquidity monitoring.
- Support the implementation of new financial processes and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for leadership and project teams.
- Stay updated on evolving accounting standards tax laws and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CA CPA or CFA preferred.
- 25 years of progressive experience in finance accounting or financial analysis within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUP macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS standards and financial reporting frameworks.
- Experience with financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced evolving environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and accuracy.
- Familiarity with tax compliance and audit processes in India.
