Job Summary
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects project managers and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress identify potential risks and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports daily logs and progress documentation for management review.
- Verify material quality and quantity upon delivery and ensure proper storage and usage on-site.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and local construction regulations.
- Manage and track the performance of contractors and subcontractors including work progress resource allocation and adherence to schedules.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies for necessary approvals inspections and compliance documentation.
- Utilize project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project AutoCAD Primavera) to support scheduling and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation upon project completion.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 25 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in real estate or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building codes applicable to residential and commercial developments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD MS Project and other construction management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication coordination and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Valid safety certification (e.g. OSHA BOSIET or equivalent) is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jaipur and adapt to variable site conditions and schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings with precision.
