Job Summary
- Design develop and maintain robust scalable and secure backend services using modern technologies and best practices.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of complex high-traffic systems with a focus on performance reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product frontend and DevOps to define technical requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews design discussions and implementation of engineering best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks system failures and scalability challenges in production environments.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Contribute to long-term technical roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into the platform.
- Ensure compliance with security standards data privacy regulations and industry best practices in system design and implementation.
- Own the full lifecycle of backend componentsfrom concept and design to deployment monitoring and optimization.
Requirements
- 10 years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java Go Python or .
- Deep understanding of distributed systems microservices architecture message queues and event-driven design.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of database design optimization and management (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience building and scaling high-availability low-latency systems serving millions of users.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects make architectural decisions and influence engineering strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system-level issues.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience working in agile environments with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels.
