Job Summary
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including requisition processing vendor selection purchase order creation and order tracking.
- Negotiate favorable pricing payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Maintain and update vendor databases ensuring accurate records of contracts performance metrics and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and reconciliation with purchase orders.
- Monitor supply chain performance and resolve discrepancies in deliveries quality issues or billing errors.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure adherence to quality cost and delivery standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies financial controls and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular procurement reports including spend analysis inventory levels and cost-saving initiatives.
- Support audits and internal reviews by providing accurate documentation and data related to purchasing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or a related field.
- 25 years of proven experience in procurement purchasing or a similar role within an accounting or finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes contract management and vendor relationship management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with GST regulations and compliance requirements in India is highly desirable.
Required Skills:
