Job Summary

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain planning including demand forecasting production planning and inventory optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to ensure cost-effective procurement of raw materials packaging and logistics services.
  • Manage a portfolio of key suppliers conducting performance reviews negotiations and contract management to ensure quality delivery and cost compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply plans with sales and marketing forecasts ensuring supply availability during peak seasons.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs across sourcing planning and supply chain operations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis for supply disruptions and develop mitigation strategies to enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce procurement costs improve supplier lead times and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards food safety protocols (e.g. FSSAI HACCP) and sustainability practices across the supply chain.
  • Utilize ERP and supply chain planning tools (e.g. SAP Oracle Kinaxis) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of planners and sourcing specialists fostering a culture of accountability and innovation


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field; MBA or certification in SCM (e.g. CSCP CPIM) is a plus.
  • 25 years of progressive experience in supply chain sourcing or planning within the FMCG food or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record in managing supplier relationships procurement strategy and demand planning in high-volume fast-moving environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis forecasting models and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Deep understanding of inventory management logistics and supply chain risk mitigation in FMCG.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Experience with sustainability and compliance standards in food and beverage supply chains is highly desirable.
