Job Summary
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects including labor materials equipment and other related expenses.
- Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Develop and manage project budgets ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial constraints.
- Monitor budget performance and identify any variances or discrepancies.
- Prepare regular budget reports and forecasts providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
- Implement and maintain effective cost control procedures to monitor and manage project expenses.
- Track project costs and expenditures ensuring they remain within approved budget limits.
- Identify and analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate any financial risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports including cost analysis budget status and financial performance metrics.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to project managers senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies procedures and financial regulations.
Requirements
BE/ in Civil / Mechanical
Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) Project Management Professional (PMP) Quantity Survey NICMAR or similar.
