Release Manager

We are seeking an experiencedRelease Managerto drive theendtoendrelease lifecycleQA certificationacross multiple products and environments.

The role requires strong coordination acrossengineering QA DevOps and product teams ensuring predictablehigh addition the candidate should haveworked in drivingQA processes and test automation enabling them to effectively drive release quality and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Release Planning & Execution

• Own and manage thecomplete release lifecycleplanning scheduling coordination deployment and validation

• Maintainrelease calendars dependencies and timelines

• Coordinate with development QA DevOps and product teams forrelease readiness

• Identifyand mitigaterisks blockers and interdependencies

2. Release Governance & Quality Assurance

• Establish and enforcerelease governance quality gates and checklists

• Ensure releases meetquality standards working closely with QA teams

• DriveGo/NoGodecisionsbased on readiness criteria

• Conductpostreleasereviewstoidentifyopportunitiesfor improvement

• Drive/leadcontinuous improvement initiativestostabilizethedeployments

3. QA Collaboration & Quality Ownership

• Lead theQA teams to ensure:

• Adequatetest coverage (functional regression integration)

• Properdefect tracking and closure before release

• Understand and supporttest automation effortsand their integration into CI/CD pipelines

• Ensurerelease readiness validation smoke testing and production verification

• Own certificationforproduct releases monthly quarterly etc.

4. CI/CD & Deployment Management

• Collaborate with DevOps to manage andoptimizeCI/CD pipelines

• Ensure smooth deployments acrossDev QA UATPreProd and Production environments

• Implement best practices for:

• Version control (Git)

• Branching strategies

• Automated deployment workflows

5. Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

• Act as thecentral pointof contact for releases

• Communicaterelease status risks timelines andimpactsclearly to stakeholders(CSMs customers and N7 leadership teams)

• Facilitate:

• Release planning meetings

• Go/NoGocalls

• Retrospectives

6. Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

• Track and improve keyrelease metrics including:

• Deployment success rate

• Defect leakage

• Change failure rate

• Mean time to recovery (MTTR)

• Drive improvements inrelease predictability automation and quality

Key Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 10years of experience inRelease Management / DevOps /QAalignedroles

• Strong experience withCI/CD tools(Azure DevOps Jenkins GitLab CI/CD)

• Experience inQA process management:

• Software testing lifecycle (STLC)

• Test automation frameworks(Selenium Cypress or similar awareness level)

• API testing tools (Postman /RestAssured preferred)

• Strong understanding of:

• Git/Jenkins& version control

• Deployment pipelines

• Multienvironmentrelease management

• Preferablyworked inProduct development companiesin managing thereleasedeployments product QA certifications.

Process & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding ofAgile / Scrum methodologies

• Experience withrelease governance and change management processes

• Familiarity with tools likeJira / Azure Boards

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strongcrossfunctionalcollaboration and stakeholder management

• Ability to manage multiple releases in afastpacedenvironment

• Strongproblemsolvinganddecisionmakingskills

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Scienceor related field

• Certifications inDevOps / Agile / ITIL/ Quality Assurance

• Exposure tocloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)

• Understanding ofautomationdrivenrelease environments QA processes
