About the Team:

Global Finance Services (GFS) business unit serves as the finance support function for WTW across segments and geographies. Based in Mumbai the Finance Operations Network (FON) team i.e. Record to Report (R2R) team comprise of professionals including Chartered Accountants finance graduates and accounting specialists at both graduate and postgraduate levels. This highly experienced group provides a wide range of financial services leveraging their expertise to deliver consistent high-quality support across the organization.

Job Summary:

You will become part of the Finance Operations Network (FON) - Record to Report (RTR) Subject Matter Expert team with in-depth system and process knowledge. You will report into the Finance Operations Network lead. As part of the Finance Operations Network - Record to Report (RTR) you will focus on: Operational support activities supporting end to end process improvement standardisation and harmonisation in Record to Report processes and supporting transition to Record to Report Operations.

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Blackline/Oracle General Ledger develop Subject Matter Experts skill support operational activities standardization efforts and quality improvements

  • Operational Record to Report activities including management of Volumetrics Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Open Items

  • Support initiatives related to Record to Report continuous process and system improvements

  • The subject matter experts are responsible for their respective process area. Reporting into Finance Operations they will each own a sub-process with ongoing interaction between Controllership (client of Finance Operations) Global Process Owner (overall process design owner) and with WE DOs Corporate Operations and Service Management team.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) / Postgraduate / masters in business administration (MBA) with at least 5 -7 years of Post Qualification Accounting and Financial Planning &Analysis Experience

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Preferably a candidate with Controllership and/or Financial Planning and & Analysis (FP&A) experience.
  • Good knowledge of all-round finance processes process design and process implementation.
  • Advanced Excel / Power query skills
  • Logical thinker and problem solver (thinking outside the box) process and system analytical capabilities
  • Experience in financial systems (Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger modules). Ideally Oracle but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to lead meetings and communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Able to effectively manage stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organization.
  • Operating in a global virtual environment
  • Navigating ambiguity
  • Building trust across teams
