Quality Manager Real Estate

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee the quality and safety standards at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project activities comply with established quality norms and safety protocols. You will work closely with the site team contractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of civil finishing and MEP work. The role also involves implementing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Roles and Responsbilites:

Supervise and manage the overall quality of site operations ensuring adherence to quality management systems.

Verify that work is carried out according to project drawings specifications and quality standards

. Prepare weekly and monthly quality observation reports highlighting key observations and ensuring timely closure of all issues with the site team.

Inspect the quality of materials used on-site ensuring compliance with testing standards and norms (e.g. cubes steels raw materials).

Maintain detailed records of material test reports for both client-supplied and contractorsupplied materials.

Ensure that all work activities (civil finishing and MEP) are recorded and documented in relevant checklists.

Maintain pre and post snagging work records pour cards and other necessary documentation.

Conduct risk assessments for the site identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.

Ensure that all safety-related measures such as safety net installations duct closures and barricading are properly implemented.

Oversee the issuance and management of work permits ensuring that all required permits are obtained.

Carry out regular work inspections and maintain corresponding checklists to ensure compliance with site safety standards.

Organize and conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and mock drills as per site safety requirements to enhance worker awareness.

Ensure general safety testing of laborers as per BMC guidelines.

Collaborate with the site team to follow up and close any quality or safety concerns.

Ensure all construction work is carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
