Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure incoming in-process and final product quality as per specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality inspection plans checklists work instructions and quality documentation.
  • Conduct process product and line inspections and identify quality deviations.
  • Analyze quality issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 5 Why Fishbone Pareto and other problem-solving techniques.
  • Raise and manage NCRs CAPA and corrective/preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
  • Work closely with Production Engineering Maintenance Purchase Supply Chain and R&D/NPD teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor and improve quality KPIs such as PPM rejection rework FPY customer complaints and COPQ.
  • Support new product development and product/process changes including quality validation and process readiness.
  • Participate in APQP PPAP PFMEA Control Plan SPC and MSA activities where applicable.
  • Conduct process and product audits and support internal customer and third-party audits.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues supplier corrective actions and incoming quality improvement.
  • Ensure proper calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings specifications tolerances and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen Lean Six Sigma and Poka-Yoke.
  • Prepare quality reports dashboards and performance analysis for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001 IATF 16949 or other industry-specific quality standards.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing quality processes and quality management systems.
  • Hands-on experience in QA/QC process quality and product quality.
  • Knowledge of RCA 8D CAPA NCR and corrective action processes.
  • Working knowledge of SPC MSA FMEA and Control Plans.
  • Exposure to APQP and PPAP is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of engineering drawings dimensional inspection and GD&T.
  • Experience with quality tools and measuring instruments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quality reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP quality modules will be an advantage.
