Job Summary

Perform final quality inspection of PCBAs electronic assemblies and aerospace products before shipment.

Verify product compliance with customer drawings specifications work instructions and quality standards.

Conduct visual inspections using IPC standards (IPC-A-610 J-STD-001) and aerospace requirements.

Review manufacturing records test reports First Article Inspection (FAI) documents and quality documentation.

Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management system requirements.

Identify non-conformities generate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and coordinate corrective actions.

Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Monitor product quality trends and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Coordinate with Production Process Engineering Quality Engineering and Customers to resolve quality issues.

Verify ESD workmanship labeling traceability and packaging requirements for aerospace products.

Participate in internal audits customer audits and regulatory inspections.

Ensure adherence to safety quality and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process

Aerospace PCBA inspection and quality assurance

IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

J-STD-001 Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies

AS9100 Quality Management System

First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102

Root Cause Analysis (5 Why Fish bone Diagram)

Non-Conformance Management (NCR)

CAPA Implementation

ESD Control and Compliance

GD&T and Engineering Drawing Interpretation

Quality Documentation and Reporting

Microsoft Office and ERP/MES systems

Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electronics Electrical

Hands on experience in Quality Assurance/Final Inspection of Aerospace Defense or Electronics Manufacturing products.

Certification in IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 preferred.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Life Sciences or related discipline 10 years of experience in Quality or QMS roles within regulated manufacturing industries Hands-on experience with multiple QMS standards (AS9100 ISO 13485 IATF 16949 IRIS/ISO 22163) Proven experience managing external audits and certifications Strong understanding of regulatory expectations (FAA/EASA FDA customer primes OEMs) Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage Skills & Competencies Deep knowledge of QMS compliance and regulatory frameworks Strong leadership influence and stakeholder management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities High attention to detail with a pragmatic business-focused mindset Strong documentation communication and presentation skills Proficient with quality tools: CAPA FMEA SPC PPAP APQP MSA & 8D
