Create and implement sourcing plans and strategies for a designated Business Unit /Support Function or and maintain supplier and internal stakeholder relationships for designated Business Unit /Support Function or Region and relevant specific contributions towards cost saving and effectiveness targets.
The Supplier Quality Management Specialist supports the implementation of the supplier quality strategy and ensures operational execution of supplier quality processes. The role focuses on monitoring supplier performance resolving quality issues and supporting continuous improvement activities in alignment with the Supplier Quality Manager.
- Support supplier qualification onboarding and periodic re-evaluation activities.
- Monitor supplier quality performance using defined KPIs and report deviations.
- Prepare and conduct supplier audits and assessments under guidance of the Supplier Quality Manager.
- Manage supplier-related non-conformances including containment root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Apply and document quality tools and methodologies such as 8D FMEA SPC PPAP and CAPA.
- Collaborate with Procurement Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve operational quality issues.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating supplier readiness activities.
- Maintain supplier quality documentation records and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
- Initial to several years of experience in supplier quality manufacturing quality or quality engineering.
- Basic to solid knowledge of quality standards and management systems (e.g. ISO ISO 14000 etc.).
- Practical experience with common quality tools and structured problem-solving methods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management Supply Chain or a related field.
