Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for managing the quality assurance process developing test strategies leading a team of QA engineers and ensuring that products meet quality standards before release. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Core Duties
- Lead mentor and manage QA engineers. Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
- Define and implement QA processes and methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Establish quality metrics and KPIs.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee manual and automated testing activities.
- Review and approve test cases and scripts.
- Support automation framework development and maintenance.
- Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and release planning.
- Provide quality reports and release readiness assessments.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging testing tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall).
- Experience with test management tools.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools.
- Aptitude for data analysis & problem solving.
- Process-orientation with attention to detail.
- 3 years of experience in software testing.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Desire to coach and lead a QA team.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
