Quality Assurance Engineer (Web & API Testing)

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer focused on developing and executing automated tests for web applications and REST APIs while also performing manual testing when required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for test case creation bug reporting and improving test coverage. This role requires an understanding of JavaScript NodeJS automation tools API testing and debugging. 3 years of experience in test engineering is required. Proficient English communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications and REST APIs.

• Utilize Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar automation tools to ensure application reliability.

• Maintain and update test scripts to align with evolving business requirements.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript and NodeJS.

• Perform manual testing when necessary to supplement automation efforts.

• Create execute and maintain detailed test cases based on project requirements.

• Identify document and track defects collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

• Improve overall test coverage to enhance application stability and performance.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar platforms.

• Work closely with DevOps and software development teams to streamline testing processes.

• Investigate test failures analyze logs and troubleshoot automation scripts.

• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues impacting test automation and application quality.

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans test cases and bug reports.

• Provide detailed reports on test execution and application performance to stakeholders.

• 3 years of experience in test engineering with a focus on automated and manual testing.

• Proficiency in Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar test automation tools.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript NodeJS and API testing with experience using Postman or similar tools.

• Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of debugging techniques and issue resolution in automation frameworks.

• Proficient English communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
